Beaches > Cala Millor

Cala Millor is a large tourist resort on Mallorca┤s east coast, divided between the municipal districts of Sant Llorenš and Son Servera; it has more than 25,000 tourist beds in hotels and apartments. The resort spreads along the coast and occupies a fair section of the bay on which it lies. Cala Millor┤s main attraction is its long beach, which is nearly 2 km long and which has a promenade that runs its entire length. There is a wide range of quality accommodation available, with most hotels and apartments located right on the sea front, with a pedestrianised zone behind them. Many tourists come to these hotels year after year in order to enjoy their holidays in Mallorca, either with their families or friends. There are also all sorts of shops here and a large selection of bars and restaurants, of which TiÓ Jass is worth a mention; this restaurant is located in a unique, modern building on the street of Carrer Bon Temps.

Which is 1,750m long and 35m wide and which has clean crystal-clear waters, is one of the island┤s busiest in summer. The construction of hotels and apartments next to the coast has destroyed the dunes that once stood here, and this has caused problems in the natural regeneration of the sand, meaning that sand has had to be artificially regenerated.
Services: a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars; lifeguards; showers; sports; sun loungers, parasols and pedal boats for rent.
